Overview:
The SLIK Leveling Unit II is a convenient leveling adapter that mounts between the tripod and the tripod head. It allows the base of the tripod head to be leveled similar to how a professional video head is. There are times when it is important to have the base of the tripod head completely level, especially when creating multi-image stitched panoramas. The Leveling Unit-II has a built-in bubble level to ensure a level platform to work from.
The all-metal SLIK Leveling Unit-II acts like a professional “Bowl Mount” on a video tripod. It allows for a total of 15 degrees (+/- 7.5 degrees) of tilt in any direction. This adapter is perfect for quick adjustments to level the tripod head.
The SLIK Leveling Unit II has simple one lock ring operation to easily lock and release the swivel bowl for leveling.
